DELF-DALF training for French

The DELF – Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française, for beginner level (A1 and A2) and intermediate level (B1 and B2) students and the DALF – Diplôme approfondi de Langue Française, for advanced level (C1 and C2) students are the official certificates issued by the French Ministry of Education to certify French language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. These exams have a lifelong validity.

There are 2 available DELF-DALF exams organised in Mumbai:

  • Tout public (16 years old and above)
  • Junior (for students less than 16 years old)

The Alliance Française de Bombay is the only authorised exam center for the DELF and the DALF in
Mumbai and the Maharashtra.

DELE training for Spanish

The DELE – Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera ( Diplomas of Spanish as a foreign language) , for beginner level (A1 and A2) intermediate level (B1 and B2) and advanced level (C1 and C2) students are the official certificates issued by the Spanish Ministry of Education to certify Spanish language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. These exams are valid permanently.

Hispanic Horizons is one of the authorized exam centers for DELE in Mumbai and the Maharashtra.

 

The Goethe – Zertifikat training for Deutsch als Fremdsprache

The Goethe – Zertifikat exams are for students who are learning German as a foreign language (Deutsch als Fremdsprache, DaF) at all levels – beginner level (A1 and A2), intermediate level (B1 and B2) and advanced level (C1 and C2) are the official certificates issues to certify German language proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
These exams have a lifelong validity.

There are 2 available exams in Mumbai:

  • Goethe Zertifikat : Fit in ( young learners)
  • Goethe Zertifikat (adults)

Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK)

Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives.

HSK consists of six levels, namely HSK (level I), HSK (level II), HSK (level III), HSK (level IV), HSK (level V), and HSK (level VI). Students will receive official certificates issued by the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters.

These exams have a validity of two years.

Youth Chinese Test (YCT)

Youth Chinese Test (YCT), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses the primary and middle school students’ abilities to use Chinese as a second language in their daily and academic lives.

YCT is divided into writing and speaking tests, which are independent to each other. The writing test consists of four levels, namely, YCT (level I), YCT (level II), YCT (level III), and YCT (level IV). The speaking test consists of two levels, YCT Speaking (Primary Level) and YCT Speaking (Intermediate Level).

The Mumbai University and K. J. Somaiya Centre for Buddhist Studies are authorised exam centres for the HSK and the YCT in Mumbai.
